Dolliver Sisters too much for the Rest of the Trailblazer Conference

    By Dean BackesNovember 15, 2025

After pouring through oodles of statistics, all-state, all-conference and all-area teams, last year's state tournament bracket and plenty of postseason rankings, we have uncovered our Trailblazer Conference projections for 2025-26.

After sitting out her junior season with an injury, Malcolm senior Halle Dolliver will soon join forces with her younger sister Payton who played a large role in Malcolm posting a 15-11 record her freshman year. With the return of Halle to the lineup, head coach Amber Dolliver, the duo's mother, will have two 20-point scorers on the basketball court at the same time.

As a sophomore, Halle Dolliver averaged 23.0 points and 11.0 rebounds while posting 47 assists, 64 steals and 38 blocked shots in 2023-24. Payton Dolliver led the Clippers with 20.6 points and 9.0 rebounds a night to go with 49 assists, 83 steals and 24 blocked shots during her first varsity season.

Juniors Baylor Bratrsobsky and Kenna Wilcox are also back. The 5-foot-7 Bratrsobsky scored 8.5 points and pulled down 3.6 rebounds to go with 40 assists, 37 steals and 2 blocked shots. Wilcox scored 4.7 points a night while reeling in 1.8 boards while dishing out 59 assists and earning credit for 33 steals and 3 blocked shots.

Beatrice sits second in our preseason cinference standings after going 11-10 a year ago. Head coach Jalen Weeks returns junior Alijah Stabler, senior Callie Schwisow and sophomore Anndyn Borrenpohl. Stabler Second Team Class B All-State honors in the Lincoln Journal Star.

    Enough of my rambling. Enjoy!
