Experienced Brownell Talbot Girls Set to Pilfer Frontier Conference Hardware

    By Dean BackesNovember 17, 2025

After pouring through oodles of statistics, all-state, all-conference and all-area teams, last year's state tournament bracket and plenty of postseason rankings, we have uncovered our Frontier Conference projections for 2025-26.

Omaha Brownell Talbot began the 2024-25 season with three straight wins then survived a five-game skid beginning in Mid-December and running through early January to keep its head above water and finish above .500 during an up and down season. Through it all, Brad Dunlap's entire roster earned plenty of playing time and gained valuable experience.

Dunlap's entire roster returns except Amelia Bell who graduated in May. Seniors Abbi Gibbs and Avery Nichols are back to lead the Raider charge in 2025-26. A 5-foot-9 wing/shooting guard, Gibbs led the Brownell Talbot attack by scoring 16.3 points an outing and pulling down 10.4 rebounds to go along with 63 assists, 47 steals and 13 blocked shots on the year.

Nichols, a 5-foot-8 point guard/shooting guard, prepared for her final season by averaging 12.9 points and 6.7 boards and posted season totals of 80 assists, 71 steals and 28 blocked shots a year ago.

Senior Kaylee Adams, junior Jakiah McCoy and sophomore Madison Snyder all return for Cedar Bluffs head coach Justice Brinkman, allowing the Wildcats to take their shots at winning the Frontier Conference. The trio combined for 20.3 points and 11.8 rebounds a game a year ago.

    Enough of my rambling. Enjoy!
